Bruce Lukazewicz
Bruce Lukaszewicz is a professional photographer, writer and editor who was born and raised in New York City. He is based in the southwest United States and practices the craft of photography primarily as a freelancer.
When he is not making photographs or traveling, you will probably find him writing or editing a book. As a traveler, Bruce knows most of the swear words in six languages and can ask “where’s the bathroom” in ten languages.
He enjoys working in both color and black & white, with black & white being his favorite format. His photo-journalistic style is both modern and distinctive with a timeless, classical edge gleaned from his study of the past masters of photo journalism.
His first love in photography is making photographs of anything concerning the emergency services – fire, police and the emergency medical service.
He is a former Firefighter and EMT and a member of the worldwide fraternity of Free & Accepted Masons. He has been making photographs for over fifty years.
